Extended story: preparing for a governance vote
In March 2025, a four-person team from a Daegu-based developer collective contacted us two weeks before a SIMD vote on fee-market changes. None had followed Solana governance closely; they held stake and wanted to vote informed rather than abstain.
We ran a glossary workshop on the SIMD text itself, then a roadmap session tracing how prior fee adjustments had been implemented. The team annotated their copy, identified two open questions about priority fee routing, and posted those questions on the public governance forum — receiving clarifications from a core contributor within days.
They reported voting with confidence. We did not tell them how to vote; we helped them read the proposal.
